I was browsing other blogs today and came across this one about coding styles.
It got me thinking. Why couldn’t our IDE’s be smart enough to simple format the text the way I want to see it. The source control system could them store it anyway it chooses and each IDE would be responsible for converting it to the form of the current user.
In this way everyone gets what they are comfortable with, and should be more productive.
